At the beginning of this trip, I experienced an unexpected transportation accident— my ankle was fractured from a sprain. Before I could even check in to the hotel, I contacted the front desk in an emergency. To my surprise, the care I received afterwards moved me deeply.
The front desk manager, Candy, and the hotel driver, Mr. Ling, first confirmed my location, then drove to pick me up and brought me to the hotel. They had already prepared iodine swabs, a wheelchair, and ice packs ready. They assisted me with check-in and accompanied me to my room. Later, Candy kept checking in on me through WeChat to stay in touch and repeatedly assured me that the front desk would continue providing ice packs and any necessary assistance—such as lending the wheelchair for moving around the office area or helping me with stairs.
The hotel truly puts their guests at the heart of everything, making the entire stay extremely warm and comforting. Candy is not only kind-hearted but also exceptionally thoughtful, while Mr. Ling was both enthusiastic and attentive. Their care made me feel incredibly supported during an unexpected and painful situation. I’m truly grateful.
During my stay, I also had the chance to dine at Zijin Xuan—the service was top-notch and the food was highly impressive. The room and bedding were absolutely comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying here!
The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The furniture would benefit from a renovation. The restaurant is very small and in both of our stays we had to wait to find a table to eat our breakfast. The hotel is also far from the main tourist attractions which can be possitive if you want to relax after a busy day visiting Nanjing.
